Let’s Make It Happen!!!
Folks, I know 2009 was an event filled year, i.e. the inauguration of the first black president, the death of Michael Jackson, the Tiger Woods scandal, etc. etc. etc…
But the real news for the upcoming year – is YOU. You are the one that can make real news, real headlines with a serious effort to push for social justice and human rights. There have been many before us, and many with us now that are getting it done. We need more of YOU. It is YOU who are the key to help us make fundamental change.
Many of you would ask, but how? Look around you. There are numerous grassroots organizations around that are focusing on the issues of which you care, and if you don’t see them, get some like-minded folks and create one! Just get it done. Remember the Law of Attraction! Let us attract what we want, as opposed to what we don’t want!
It’s time to really build upon solid relationships, make healthy new ones, and create the kind of society that we want, instead of the society that currently exists, the one of which we constantly complain and rail against. Let’s invest in US, instead of THEM. When we clear the smoke and mirrors, we realize that “THEM” don’t matter at all!
Pop culture cannot feed us real substance. Only we can. We need to cultivate the kind of culture that will sustain us. There are many who are already out here doing it, so come on and join the party!
So, let us make 2010 not about personalities, celebrities, scandals and endless paparazzi. Instead let 2010 be about the best people we know – US.
